YOU TYPED THE END, BUT THERE’S STILL WORK TO DO

It’s time to make a plan so your novel gets the attention it deserves in a noisy market.

The problem is…

  • You’ve been told by all the experts you need a website, but you’re terrified of wasting a ton of money and time on one.

  • You know you should start collecting emails, but don’t know how to start or what you’d even do with them.

(Newsletter? You wonder WTF would you even say in a newsletter.)

  • You’ve taken all the classes, downloaded all the workbooks, filled out all the spreadsheets, and you still don’t know what you should do next.

  • You’re paralyzed by fear and doubt and would just rather work on writing your next novel and forget all this marketing BS.

There are a bazillion methods and a bazillion people telling you how to market your book.

But there’s only one unique you.

WHAT WOULD IT FEEL LIKE TO HAVE A NEXT BEST STEP PLAN?

A plan that doesn’t make you want to hide under the covers and binge watch
all four seasons of The Good Place?

This my friend, is where I come in.

Please allow me to introduce myself

(cue the Rolling Stones)

Hi, I’m Jocelyn, and I love helping writers start thinking of marketing their books like an Oscar Night red carpet party instead of a fiery ring of Hell.

I’m a book coach not only passionate about helping writers tell their best stories, but also how to get those stories into the world.

I’ve been a website developer, a technical writer, a graphic designer, a wedding florist, an event planner, a non-profit fundraiser, and for several ridiculous months an urban farmer.

What do all these apparently random things have in common? People buying stories.

Because ultimately, no matter how you publish your novel, you’re going to need to market it if you want people to buy it.

My goal is for you to walk away with a no bullshit plan feeling like you can do the required work to get your novel into your audiences’ hands.

READY TO BRING YOUR GLORIOUS MARKETING SELF TO LIFE?

(We’re talking full-on laboratory lightning and shouting, “It’s alive!”)

Here’s how to make the magic happen:

  • Schedule a call with me.

  • Fill out the brief form.

  • You’ll receive an invoice for $50.
(The invoice must be paid before we talk.)

  • We get on a call and have a 30 minute chat.

Don’t know what to ask? That’s okay!

Here’s a few sample questions that may be keeping you up all night:

  • When should I get a website?

  • How do I hire a website designer?

  • Wordpress, Squarespace, Wix, or my neighbor’s 15 year old kid?

  • What content do I need on a website?

  • How do I get book reviews?

  • What do I email my mailing list?

  • Social Media gives me hives, do I really need it?

  • Do I need to post every day on every social media platform out there?

  • How do I start a mailing list from nada, zilch, nothing?

    And so many more!

Still don’t know what to ask?

Don’t let that stop you from scheduling a call.

We can talk about whatever publishing questions, worries, or brainstorms that you’re having.

Just need someone to throw some thoughts at?

That works too. This is your 30 minutes to pick my brain for all the juicy bits.
